Remote Ready Oklahoma Showcased at Cortado Ventures Startup Pitch Competition
Remote Ready Oklahoma was honored to participate in the Cortado Ventures Startup Pitch Competition, held on July 15, 2026, at The Verge OKC. The event brought together some of Oklahoma's most promising early-stage startups, investors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders for an evening focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.
Founder Meaghan Burns took the stage as one of the selected startups to present the vision behind Remote Ready Oklahoma—a workforce development initiative designed to prepare Oklahomans for remote careers while helping employers connect with qualified remote talent.

Hosted by Cortado Ventures in partnership with The Verge OKC, the live pitch competition featured up to eight startup finalists competing for a $10,000 investment from the Cortado Angel Fund through an uncapped SAFE agreement.
